Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two ravenous wolves spending the night in a sheepfold do not cause as much harm as the love of wealth and status does to a Muslim's religion."

Benefit: It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Malik al-Ansari radi Allahu anhu that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: "Two hungry wolves let loose among sheep are not as harmful to them as a man's greed for wealth and status is to his religion." [ترمذي : 2376 ، وسنده حسن]
