813 - أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، أنا الْقَاضِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسٍ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ، هُوَ ابْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَرْعَرَةَ، نا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الذِّمَارِيُّ، نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَحَّافِ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا ذِئْبَانِ ضَارِيَانِ بَاتًّا فِي زَرِيبَةِ غَنَمٍ بِأَسْرَعَ فِيهَا مِنْ حُبِّ الْمَالِ وَالشَّرَفِ فِي دِينِ الْمُسْلِمِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two ravenous wolves spending the night in a sheepfold do not cause as much harm as the love of wealth and status does to a Muslim's religion."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Malik al-Ansari radi Allahu anhu that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: "Two hungry wolves let loose among sheep are not as harmful to them as a man's greed for wealth and status is to his religion." [ترمذي : 2376 ، وسنده حسن]
