773 - أَخْبَرَنَا الْخَصِيبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْقَاضِي، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ رَشِيقٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ الطَّالْقَانِيُّ، ثنا صَالِحُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التِّرْمِذِيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا شَقِيَ عَبْدٌ قَطُّ بِمَشُورَةٍ، وَمَا سَعِدَ بِاسْتِغْنَاءٍ بِرَأْي، يَقُولُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: {وَشَاوِرْهُمْ فِي الْأَمْرِ} [آل عمران: 159] وَقَالَ تَعَالَى: {وَأَمْرُهُمْ شُورَى بَيْنَهُمْ} [الشورى: 38] "
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d Sa’idi (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “A servant is never unsuccessful due to consultation, and is never successful due to neglecting opinion.” Allah the Exalted says: «وَشَاوِرْهُمْ فِي الْأَمْرِ» “And consult them in the matter.” And Allah the Exalted has said: «وَأَمْرُهُمْ شُورَىٰ بَيْنَهُمْ» “And their affairs are (decided) by mutual consultation among them.”
