771 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ التُّجِيبِيُّ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبَانَ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، مَوْلَى جَرِيرِ بْنِ سُلَيْكٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ كُوفِيٌّ، ثنا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْقَصَبَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي قَيْسُ بْنُ كَعْبٍ، عَنْ مَعْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا أَعَزَّ اللَّهُ بِجَهْلٍ قَطُّ، وَلَا أَذَلَّ بِحِلْمٍ قَطُّ، وَلَا نَقَصَ مَالٌ مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Mas‘ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Allah never grants honor because of ignorance, never humiliates because of forbearance, and wealth is never decreased by giving charity.”

Benefit:
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah radi Allahu anhu that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “Charity does not decrease wealth; when a servant forgives, Allah increases his honor; and whoever humbles himself for the sake of Allah, Allah raises his rank.” [مسلم : 2588]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah radi Allahu anhu that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “Charity does not decrease wealth; when a servant forgives, Allah increases his honor; and whoever humbles himself for the sake of Allah, Allah raises his rank.” [مسلم : 2588]
