757 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْبَزَّازُ، ثنا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْعَيْزَارِ , عَنْ طَلْقِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ، يَرْفَعُهُ مُخْتَصَرًا
Taliq bin Habib narrated this hadith in a concise form as marfu‘: “Marry a religious woman, may your hands be dust-covered.”
Brief Explanation
Benefit:
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah radi Allahu anhu that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: "A woman is married for four qualities: for her wealth, for her lineage, for her beauty, and for her religion. But you should attain success by marrying a religious woman—may your hands be dust-covered." [بخاري : 5090]
