Brief Explanation
Explanation: -
“Spread the greeting of salam and you will remain safe.” That is, when you meet one another, say “as-salamu alaykum.” One benefit of this is that your hearts will remain safe from envy and malice, rancor and hatred, ill-will, enmity, and other sins; mutual love will increase, which will create an atmosphere of peace and tranquility in society.
It is mentioned in the hadith: “You cannot enter Paradise until you become believers, and you cannot become believers until you love one another. Shall I not tell you of something which, if you do it, you will love one another? Spread salam among yourselves.” [مسلم : 54]
The second benefit is that on the Day of Resurrection, you will enter Paradise in peace, having been saved from punishments, as will be mentioned further in the hadith.
