668 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، أبنا أَبُو عُمَرَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ ديزَوَيْهِ بْنِ شَاسَرْوَيْهِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «أَكْثِرُوا مِنْ ذِكْرِ هَادِمِ اللَّذَّاتِ، فَمَا ذَكَرَهُ عَبْدٌ قَطُّ وَهُوَ فِي ضِيقٍ إِلَّا وَسَّعَهُ عَلَيْهِ، وَلَا ذَكَرَهُ وَهُوَ فِي سَعَةٍ إِلَّا ضَيَّقَهُ عَلَيْهِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "Remember frequently the destroyer of pleasures (death), for indeed, whenever a servant remembers it in hardship, it brings him ease, and whenever he remembers it in ease, it brings him hardship."
