666 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْجِيزِيُّ، أبنا أَبُو عَمْرٍو زَيْدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ابْنِ أَخِي وَهْبٍ، ثنا عَمِّي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هَانِئٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ , عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «قُولُوا خَيْرًا تَغْنَمُوا، وَاسْكُتُوا عَنْ شَرٍّ تَسْلَمُوا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Ubādah bin Sāmit (may Allah be pleased with him) that indeed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Speak good words and you will benefit, and remain silent from bad words and you will be safe.”
