Brief Explanation
Explanation: -
In this blessed hadith, three matters have been advised: ① Taqwa (God-consciousness): ...
It is stated: "Fear Allah wherever you are." Taqwa is a very comprehensive term; whether a person is in seclusion or in public, in ease or in hardship, in every situation he should fear Allah and obey Him. This very thing is called taqwa. It is such a comprehensive quality that, because of it, righteous deeds are performed by a person and he protects himself from evil deeds. Whoever possesses taqwa is successful, as Allah the Exalted has said: ﴿إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا﴾ (al-Naba: 31) "Indeed, for the God-fearing there is success."

Repentance: ...
It is stated: "After committing a sin, perform a good deed; that good deed will erase it."
It is a characteristic of human nature that mistakes occur from him. There is an English saying: "To Err is Human." If a person were to know that his mistakes and sins would never be forgiven and he would never receive pardon for them, he would become hopeless and turn to further rebellion. But a Muslim understands well that Allah has bestowed mercy upon him in that He has made allowance for sins to be forgiven and for turning back to Him. If a mistake occurs, it can be erased by performing a good deed afterward, as Allah the Exalted has also said: ﴿إِنَّ الْحَسَنَاتِ يُذْهِبْنَ السَّيِّئَاتِ﴾ (Hud: 114) "Indeed, good deeds erase bad deeds."

Good Character: ...
It is stated: "Behave with people with good character." The details of good character have already been explained. See Hadith number 53.
