625 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُوسَى السِّمْسَارُ بِدِمَشْقَ، أبنا أَبُو زَيْدٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، أبنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفَرَبْرِيُّ، أبنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْبُخَارِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ , عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَسِّرُوا وَلَا تُعَسِّرُوا، وَبَشِّرُوا وَلَا تُنَفِّرُوا»
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "Make things easy, do not make them difficult; give glad tidings, do not spread aversion."

The meaning is that in general gatherings of admonition, advice, and invitation and reminder, such matters of religion should be mentioned that create an inclination towards religion among the people. Similarly, in the explanation and clarification of religion, this aspect should also be kept in view. Furthermore, the manner of expression should not be such as to cause aversion, but rather one that brings people closer. In this, the wisdom of invitation and propagation (da‘wah and tabligh) has been described, which it is necessary for those who call to religion (da‘iyan-e-din) to keep in mind.
