Sayyiduna Rukb Misri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Glad tidings for the person who adopted humility despite having no defect or fault in himself, considered himself low despite not being poor or needy, spent from the wealth he had gathered without any sin, kept company with people of jurisprudence and wisdom, and showed mercy to the poor and destitute. Glad tidings for the person whose earnings are pure, whose inner self is good, whose outward appearance is excellent, and who kept his evil away from people. Glad tidings for the person who acted upon his knowledge, spent from his surplus wealth, and refrained from unnecessary talk.”
