Brief Explanation
Explanation: -a In these ahadith as well, the issue of predestination (qadar) has been clarified: whatever is destined to happen will certainly occur. No matter how much a person tries to plan or take precautions, what is written in destiny will inevitably be fulfilled; in other words, destiny will prevail over planning. Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah radi Allahu anhu was a very pious and God-fearing person who always, in every respect, wished to keep himself away from sins. He presented himself before the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and said, "I am a young man, but I have not yet married, nor do I have the means to get married. I am constantly fearful of falling into sin, so please grant me permission to become a eunuch (i.e., to be castrated)." But the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did not grant permission, saying that whatever is destined to happen will certainly occur; now it is up to you. In other words, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam forbade him from becoming a eunuch and explained the issue that destiny will, in any case, be enforced. And it was written in the destiny of Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah radi Allahu anhu that he would not commit adultery (zina), rather he would get married and have children, and indeed, all of this came to pass.
