60 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ التُّجِيبِيُّ، أبنا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ، ثنا بَكْرٌ هُوَ ابْنُ سَهْلٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ، أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Fever is from the steam of Hell, so cool it with water." This hadith is authentic; Bukhari narrated it from Malik bin Ismail.
