عَجَبًا لِلْمُؤْمِنِ فَوَاللَّهِ لَا يَقْضِي اللَّهُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ قَضَاءً إِلَّا كَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُAmazing is the believer, for by Allah, Allah decrees nothing for him except it is good for him

596 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ التُّجِيبِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ جَامِعٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا ابْنُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيِّ، ثنا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ، عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «عَجَبًا لِلْمُؤْمِنِ فَوَاللَّهِ لَا يَقْضِي اللَّهُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ قَضَاءً إِلَّا كَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ»
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How amazing is the believer! By Allah, whatever Allah decides for the believer is always better for him."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Suhaib radi Allahu anhu that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: "Wondrous is the affair of the believer, for verily all of his affairs are good for him, and this is for no one except the believer: if something pleasing befalls him, he is grateful, and that is better for him; and if something harmful befalls him, he is patient, and that is better for him." [مسلم : 2999]
