578 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْمُعَدِّلُ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ جَامِعٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يُبْعَثُ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى نِيَّاتِهِمْ»
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, people will be raised according to their intentions."
Brief Explanation
Benefit:
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar radi Allahu anhu that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “When Allah sends punishment upon a people, that punishment befalls all those who are among that people. Then (on the Day of Resurrection) they will be raised according to their deeds.” [بخاري : 7108]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir radi Allahu anhu that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “(On the Day of Resurrection) every servant will be raised upon that (intention) upon which death came to him.” [مسلم : 2877]
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah radi Allahu anha that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “An army will attack the Ka‘bah. When they reach the plain of Bayda’, all of them, the first and the last, will be swallowed up by the earth.” Sayyidah Aishah radi Allahu anha asked: “O Messenger of Allah! Why will all of them, the first and the last, be swallowed up by the earth, when among them will be their common people and those who are not of them?” He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam replied: “All of them, the first and the last, will be swallowed up, and then (on the Day of Resurrection) they will be raised according to their intentions.” [بخاري : 2118 ، مسلم : 2884]
