Hadith 561

561 - وأنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، أَيْضًا، أنا الْقَاضِي أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، نا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسٍ، نا عَلِيٌّ، أنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّكُمْ مَنْصُورُونَ وَمَفْتُوحٌ لَكُمْ وَمُصِيبُونَ، فَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ ذَلِكَ مِنْكُمْ فَلْيَتَّقِ اللَّهَ، وَلْيَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ، وَلْيَنْهَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ، وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "Surely, you will be helped, and you will be granted victory, and you will receive spoils of war. So whoever reaches that (time), he should fear Allah, enjoin good, and forbid evil. And whoever deliberately attributes a lie to me, then he should prepare his abode in Hell."
