557 - أنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ، أَيْضًا، أنا الْقَاضِي أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، نا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، نا سَهْلُ بْنُ زَنْجَلَةَ، نا الصَّبَّاحُ بْنُ مُحَارِبٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَعْلَى بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ، رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ شَيْئًا اعْتَمَدَهُ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»
Sayyiduna Ya'la bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever deliberately attributes even a small lie to me, then he should make his abode in Hell."
