554 - وأنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ، أنا الْقَاضِي أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، نا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، نا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، أَيْضًا بِحَدِيثِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، نا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اتَّقُوا الْحَدِيثَ عَلَيَّ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلِيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَمَنْ كَذَبَ فِي الْقُرْآنِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Beware regarding narrating hadith from me, for whoever deliberately attributes a lie to me should make his abode in the Hellfire, and whoever lies about the Qur'an without knowledge should also make his abode in the Hellfire."
