مِنْ بَنَى لِلَّهِ مَسْجِدًا وَلَوْ مِثْلَ مِفْحَصِ قَطَاةٍ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِWhoever builds a mosque for Allah, even as small as a bird's nest, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise

480 - وأنا قَاضِي الْقُضَاةِ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَوَّامِ، نا الْقَاضِي أَبُو طَاهِرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الذُّهْلِيُّ، نا جَعْفَرُ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، نا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، نا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ الْيَامِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ الصِّدِّيقِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ بَنَى مَسْجِدًا لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَلَوْ مِثْلَ مِفْحَصِ قَطَاةٍ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, even if it is as small as a bird’s nest, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir radi Allahu anhu that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: "Whoever digs a well of water from which living beings—jinn and humans, birds and beasts—drink, Allah Ta'ala will reward him with recompense on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever builds a mosque the size of a bird's nest or even smaller, Allah Ta'ala will build a house for him in Paradise." [التاريخ الكبير للبخاري : 1/332 ، وسنده صحيح]
