Brief Explanation
Benefit: It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah radi Allahu anhu that a beggar stood before the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and asked him for something, but he turned away from him. The beggar asked again, and he again turned away. The Companions said: "O Messenger of Allah! You do not usually turn away from a beggar?" The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam replied: "I turned away from him only for a certain purpose and benefit. I was hoping that one of you would intercede for him so that he too would receive reward, because Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, continues to fulfill the needs of a Muslim as long as he is engaged in fulfilling the need of his brother. And whoever wishes to know what status he holds with Allah, let him see what status Allah holds with him, because Allah places the servant in the same position as the servant places his Lord."
