448 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَزَادَ مُرْدَ ثنا الْحَبِيبُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَالِينِيُّ، أبنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، وَمَنْدَلُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ طَرِيفٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ وَهْبَانَ , عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ فَارَقَ الْجَمَاعَةَ شِبْرًا خَلَعَ رِبْقَةَ الْإِسْلَامِ مِنْ عُنُقِهِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever separates himself from the congregation even by a handspan has removed the collar of Islam from his neck."
Brief Explanation
Benefit:
In a lengthy hadith narrated from Sayyiduna Harith al-Ash'ari radi Allahu anhu, it is reported that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: "Indeed, whoever distances himself from the congregation even by a handspan has removed the collar of Islam from his neck, unless he repents, that is, returns back." [ترمذي : 2863 ، صحيح]
