434 - أَخْبَرَنَا رِفَاعَةُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْأَمِينُ الْكَاتِبُ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَاعِدٍ، ثنا أَبُو السَّائِبِ سَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ السُّوَائِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، ح قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ: وَثَنًا أَبُو اللَّيْثِ الْفَرَائِضِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو هَمَّامٍ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ شُجَاعٍ السَّكُونِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَذَكَرَ حَدِيثَ الْغَارِ. وَقَالَ فِي آخِرِهِ: فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ تَكُونَ لَهُ خَبِيئَةٌ مِنْ عَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ فَلْيَفْعَلْ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he mentioned the hadith of the cave, and at its end he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever among you can keep any of his good deeds hidden, he should do so."
