مَنْ أَحَبَّ عَمَلَ قَوْمٍ خَيْرًا كَانَ أَوْ شَرًّا كَانَ كَمَنْ عَمِلَهُWhoever loves the deeds of a people, whether good or bad, is like one who did them

420 - أَخْبَرَنَا تُرَابُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُفَسِّرِ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، ثنا عَمْرِو بْنُ الْحُصَيْنِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُلَاثَةَ، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ أَحَبَّ عَمَلَ قَوْمٍ خَيْرًا كَانَ أَوْ شَرًّا كَانَ كَمَنْ عَمِلَهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that indeed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever approves of the actions of a people, whether bad or good, is like those who do those actions."
