390 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَنْبَارِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مِسْوَرٍ ثنا مِقْدَامٌ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جَبَلَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي طَاوُسٌ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ تَشَبَّهَ بِقَوْمٍ فَهُوَ مِنْهُمْ»
Tawoos reports that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever imitates a people is one of them."

Benefit:
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar radi Allahu anhu that indeed the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: "Whoever imitates a people, then he is from among them." [أبو داؤد : 4031 ، حسن]
