Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever Allah grants wealth, it should certainly be apparent on him, and it is obligatory for him to begin with his dependents, and whatever remains should be returned towards (other) needy people. Do not blame the one who is content, and do not consider yourself incapable."

Brief Explanation
Benefit:
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr radi Allahu anhu that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “Allah Almighty likes the manifestation of His blessing upon His servant.” [ترمذي : 2819 ، حسن]

The father of Abu’l-Ahwas states that I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and he saw my worn-out clothes. He said: “Do you have wealth?” I replied: “Yes, O Messenger of Allah! I have all kinds of wealth.” He said: “When Allah has given you wealth, then its effects should be visible upon you.” [نسائي : 5226 ، صحيح]

It is narrated from Hakim bin Hizam radi Allahu anhu that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “The upper hand is better than the lower hand, and begin with your family (i.e., give to them first), and the best charity is that which, after giving, a person remains wealthy. And whoever wishes to avoid asking (from others), Allah will protect him, and whoever seeks self-sufficiency, Allah will make him self-sufficient.” [بخاري : 1427]
