Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever longs for Paradise hastens towards good deeds, and whoever fears Hell becomes indifferent to desires, and whoever keeps death in mind becomes unconcerned with pleasures, and whoever is disinterested in the world finds calamities easy to bear."
