Brief Explanation
Explanation: - The existence of the Hawd al-Kawthar (Pond of Kawthar) in the Plain of Resurrection is a firmly established truth. Numerous ahadith have been narrated regarding it. The scholars state that the Hawd al-Kawthar (Pond of Kawthar) and the Nahr al-Kawthar (River of Kawthar) are two distinct things. The Nahr al-Kawthar will be inside Paradise, while the Hawd al-Kawthar will be outside Paradise, in the Plain of Resurrection. Allah, the Exalted, will grant this Hawd to His Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam will be at the forefront of his ummah at the Hawd. [بخاري : 5689]
One side of the Hawd al-Kawthar will be as long as the distance between Madinah and Oman (approximately one thousand kilometers). [مسلم : 3301]
The water of the Hawd al-Kawthar will be whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. [مسلم : 3301]
On the Hawd al-Kawthar there will be cups of gold and silver, whose number will be as many as the stars in the sky. [مسلم : 2303]
Whoever drinks once from the Hawd al-Kawthar will never feel thirst again (in the Plain of Resurrection). [مسلم : 2292]
For the sake of the people of Yemen, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam will move others away from the Hawd. [مسلم: 2301]
Innovators (ahl al-bid‘ah) will be turned away from the Hawd al-Kawthar by the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and will return deprived. [بخاري : 6585]
You (the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) will drive away other (non-Muslim) people from your Hawd just as a man drives away the camels of others from his own pond. [مسلم : 247]
