314 - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْقَرْقُوبِيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بِشْرٍ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ، ثنا قَتَادَةُ بْنُ الْوَسِيمِ أَبُو عَوْسَجَةَ الطَّائِيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ آدَمَ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْوَيْلُ كُلُّ الْوَيْلِ لِمَنْ تَرَكَ عِيَالَهُ بِخَيْرٍ وَقَدِمَ عَلَى رَبِّهِ بِشَرٍّ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever leaves his family and dependents with (unlawful) wealth and himself meets his Lord bearing sin, for him there is nothing but destruction upon destruction."
Brief Explanation
Hafiz Dhahabi rahimahullah said: Although the meaning of this hadith is correct, it is fabricated. It was narrated from Qatadah by Ibrahim bin Ahmad Askari, and he too is unknown just like him. [ميزان الاعتدال : 3/ 385]
