Brief Explanation
Benefit: Although the aforementioned narration is weak, it is nevertheless true that the Noble Qur’an is a remedy and a cure for all kinds of illnesses. Allah Ta’ala says: “And We send down in the Qur’an that which is a healing and a mercy for the believers.” (Bani Isra’il: 92) In another place, it is stated: “Say: It (the Qur’an) is guidance and a healing for the believers.” (Ha Mim al-Sajdah: 44) However, it should be remembered that this cure is not in hanging the verses or drinking them after washing them off.
