Brief Explanation
Explanation:
In this blessed hadith, the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has foretold regarding the ages of the people of his ummah that most people's ages will be between sixty and seventy years, and in reality, this is the case: most people depart to Allah Ta'ala in this period of life. Very few are those who go beyond seventy; the age between sixty and seventy is the average age. It is neither so little that a person cannot see the world or enjoy the pleasures of life, nor so much that a person becomes weary of his life. Just as Allah Ta'ala has made this ummah a moderate ummah, likewise, their ages have also been kept moderate. Therefore, a person should, at the very least, upon reaching this period of life, abandon disobedience to his Creator and Master. The blessed hadith is that Allah Ta'ala has left no excuse for that person whose death has been delayed so much that he reaches sixty years. [بخاري : 6419]
