237 - سَمِعْتُ الْقَاضِيَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَامَةَ يَحْلِفُ بِاللَّهِ وَيَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْعَبَّاسِ أَحْمَدَ بْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ يَحْلِفُ بِاللَّهِ وَيَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ بُرْدٍ يَحْلِفُ بِاللَّهِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ نَفِيسٍ، يَحْلِفُ بِاللَّهِ لَسَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ يَحْلِفُ بِاللَّهِ لَسَمِعَ هُدْبَةَ بْنَ خَالِدٍ يَحْلِفُ بِاللَّهِ لَسَمِعَ أَبَا جَنَابٍ الْقَصَّابَ يَحْلِفُ بِاللَّهِ لَسَمِعَ زِيَادًا النُّمَيْرِيَّ يَحْلِفُ بِاللَّهِ لَسَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَحْلِفُ بِاللَّهِ لَسَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «شَفَاعَتِي لِأَهْلِ الْكَبَائِرِ مِنْ أُمَّتِي»
I heard Qazi Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Salamah, swearing by Allah, say that he heard Abu al-Abbas Ahmad bin Husayn, swearing by Allah, say that he heard Abu al-Hasan Ahmad bin Abdur Rahman bin Bard, swearing by Allah, say that he heard Ibn Nafis, swearing by Allah, say that he heard Ali bin Muhammad bin Ismail, swearing by Allah, say that he heard Hudbah bin Khalid, swearing by Allah, say that he heard Abu Janab Qassab, swearing by Allah, say that he heard Ziyad al-Namiri, swearing by Allah, say that he heard our master Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), swearing by Allah, say that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "My intercession is for those among my Ummah who commit major sins."
