Brief Explanation
Explanation:
In this hadith, the virtue of the fasting person has been described. Fasting (sawm) is to abstain from eating, drinking, marital relations, and other prohibited matters from true dawn (subh sadiq) until sunset. How great is the virtue for the fasting person that for this long period (from true dawn until sunset), there is a promise from Allah Ta'ala of the acceptance of supplication (du'a) for him. Therefore, he should take advantage of this golden opportunity and ask for the goodness of this world and the Hereafter during this time.
