229 - أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْمِنْهَالِ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا مِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الرُّعَيْنِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ جُمْهَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الصِّيَامُ نِصْفُ الصَّبْرِ، وَعَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ زَكَاةٌ، وَزَكَاةُ الْجَسَدِ الصِّيَامُ»
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Fasting is half of patience, and there is zakat on everything, and the zakat of the body is fasting."

Benefit:
It is narrated from a man of Banu Sulaym that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) counted these (things) on my hand or on his own hand, and said: “Saying Subhan Allah is half of the scale, and Alhamdulillah fills it, and Allahu Akbar fills what is between the heavens and the earth, and fasting is half of patience, while purification (taharah) is half of faith (iman).” [ترمذي : 3519 ، حسن]
