Brief Explanation
Benefit: - It is narrated from Sayyiduna Tamim Dari radi Allahu anhu that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: On the Day of Resurrection, the first thing a servant will be questioned about is prayer (salah). If he has fulfilled this obligation, then the rest of his (prayers) will be recorded as additional (supererogatory/nafl). And if his prayer is found complete, it will be written as complete. And if there is any deficiency in it, then Allah, the Exalted, will say to the angels: “Look at My servant’s supererogatory prayers (nawafil), and with them complete the deficiency in his obligatory prayers (fara’id).” Then the reckoning of zakat will take place, and similarly, the reckoning of other deeds will be done.
