Brief Explanation
Explanation: In this blessed hadith, attention is drawn towards responsibility and guardianship. Responsibility and guardianship are such obligations that no human being is exempt from them. Allah, the Exalted, has made every person responsible for someone or something, and he will be answerable to Allah regarding this responsibility. Thus, in the noble hadith it is stated that the leader (imam) is responsible, and he will be questioned about his subjects; and a man is responsible for his household, and he will be answerable regarding his subjects; a woman is responsible for her husband’s house, and she too will be questioned regarding her subjects; and a servant is responsible for his master’s wealth, and he too will be questioned regarding his subjects. “[بخاري : 893]
So, every person is, in some respect, responsible and answerable regarding his subjects. Therefore, every person should remain aware of his responsibility and develop within himself the awareness that he will be questioned in the Divine Court regarding his responsibility.
