191 - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، أبنا ابْنُ شَهْرَيَارَ وَابْنُ رِيذَةَ قَالَا: ثنا الطَّبَرَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ أَبُو بَكْرٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ الْفِلَسْطِينِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مِنْ حُسْنِ إِسْلَامِ الْمَرْءِ تَرْكُهُ مَا لَا يَعْنِيهِ» قَالَ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ: تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ. وَلَا كَتَبْنَاهُ إِلَّا، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدَةَ، وَلَا يُرْوَى، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ إِلَّا بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، وَلِابْنِ الزِّنَادِ ابْنٌ آخَرُ يُكْنَى بِأَبِي الْقَاسِمِ، وَلَمْ يُسَمَّ، رَوَى عَنْهُ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ
Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A person's leaving of futile things is a sign of the goodness of his Islam." Imam Tabarani said: Muhammad bin Kathir bin Marwan is unique in narrating this report from Ibn al-Zinad, and we have transmitted it only from Muhammad bin Abdah, and the narration of Zayd bin Thabit is reported only with this chain, and Ibn Abi al-Zinad has another son whose kunyah is Abu al-Qasim and whose name is not mentioned, from whom Ahmad bin Hanbal has narrated.
