شَرَفُ الْمُؤْمِنِ قِيَامُهُ بِاللَّيْلِ وَعِزُّهُ اسْتَغْنَاؤُهُ عَنِ النَّاسِThe honor of the believer is his standing at night (in prayer), and his dignity is his independence from people

151 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْمَوْتِ الْمَكِّيُّ إِمْلَاءً، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ مُوسَى وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالَا: أبنا زَافِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «شَرَفُ الْمُؤْمِنِ قِيَامُهُ بِاللَّيْلِ، وَعِزُّهُ اسْتَغْنَاؤُهُ عَنِ النَّاسِ»
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: “The honor of a believer is in his standing for prayer at night, and his dignity is in being independent of people.”
