اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِيشَةً سَوِيَّةً، وَمِيتَةً نَقِيَّةً، وَمَرَدًّا غَيْرَ مُخْزٍ وَلَا فَاضِحٍO Allah, I ask You for a sound life, a pure death, and a return that is neither disgraceful nor shameful

1499 - أنا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأُدْفُوِيُّ، أنا أَبُو الطَّيِّبِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، نا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الطَّبَرِيُّ، نا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، نا خَلَّادُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْجُعْفِيُّ، نا شَرِيكٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْعُو فَيَقُولُ: «اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِيشَةً نَقِيَّةً، وَمِيتَةً سَوِيَّةً، وَمَرَدًّا غَيْرَ مُخْزٍ وَلَا فَاضِحٍ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to supplicate: "O Allah! Indeed, I ask You for a pure life, an easy death, and an end in which there is no disgrace or humiliation."
