1489 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ التُّجِيبِيُّ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ جَامِعٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا مُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ الْعَمِّيُّ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُسَاوِرٍ الْعَتَكِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو حَمْزَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: «لَا تَطْلُبَنَّ حَاجَةً إِلَى أَعْمَى، وَلَا تَطْلُبَنَّهَا لَيْلًا، وَإِذَا طَلَبْتَ الْحَاجَةَ فَاسْتَقْبِلِ الرَّجُلَ بِوَجْهِكَ، فَإِنَّ الْحَيَاءَ فِي الْعَيْنَيْنِ وَبَاكِرْ حَاجَتَكَ» فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِأُمَّتِي فِي بُكُورِهَا»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that never ask a blind person for a need, and never ask for a need at night, and when you have to ask for a need, turn towards that person with your face, because modesty is in both eyes. And go out for your need in the morning, because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah! Bless my Ummah in its morning time."
