1478 - أنا الْغُبَرِيُّ، نا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الشَّاعِرُ، نا أَبُو النَّضْرِ، عَنِ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنْ وَافَقْتُ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ مَا أَقُولُ فِيهَا؟ قَالَ: «قُولِي اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي»
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I asked: O Messenger of Allah! If I find the Night of Qadr, which supplication should I recite in it? He (peace be upon him) said: "You should say: O Allah! Indeed, You are Forgiving, You love to forgive, so forgive me."
