لَوْ كَانَ الْمُؤْمِنُ فِي جُحْرِ فَأْرَةٍ لَقَيَّضَ اللَّهُ لَهُ فِيهِ مَنْ يُؤْذِيهِIf the believer were in a mouse hole, Allah would send someone to harm him there

1438 - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ، أبنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ، نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ خُشَيْشٍ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ نُوحٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَبُو قَتَادَةَ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ صُعَيْرٍ الْعُذْرِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَوْ أَنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ فِي جُحْرٍ لَقَيَّضَ اللَّهُ لَهُ فِيهِ مَنْ يُؤْذِيهِ»
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, if a believer were to be in any hole, Allah would still create for him something to cause him harm there."
