1418 - أَخْبَرَنَا هِبَةُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ بُنْدَارٍ، ثنا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ بِمِنًى: «رُبَّ مُبَلَّغٍ أَوْعَى مِنْ سَامِعٍ»
Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, while he was in Mina: "Sometimes the one to whom a hadith is conveyed remembers it better than the one who heard it directly."
