Sayyiduna Rafi‘ bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “When Allah loves someone, He protects him from the world just as one of you protects his sick one from water.”

Brief Explanation
Explanation: -
From these ahadith, it is understood that every soul will die at the very place where Allah Ta'ala wills, and this matter is known to none except Allah Ta'ala—who will die where? The statement of Allah Ta'ala is:
﴿وَمَاتَدْرِينَفْسٌبِأَيِّأَرْضٍتَمُوتُإِنَّاللَّهَعَلِيمٌخَبِيرٌ﴾ (Luqman: 34) “No soul knows in what land it will die. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.”
When the time of death arrives, wherever the servant may be, Allah Ta'ala brings him to the appointed place by some means. Thus, he encounters some necessary task that draws him there of its own accord. It is observed daily that a person sets out for some work, and his death occurs in a place far from his home, city, or region, even though such a thing never crossed his mind or imagination.
