مَثَلُ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي مَثَلُ سَفِينَةِ نُوحٍ مَنْ رَكِبَ فِيهَا نَجَا وَمَنْ تَخَلَّفَ عَنْهَا غَرِقَThe example of my family is like the Ark of Noah; whoever boards it is saved, and whoever stays behind is drowned

1345 - أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، أنا الْقَاضِي أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي سُوَيْدٍ، نا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ أَهْلَ بَيْتِي مِثْلُ سَفِينَةِ نُوحٍ مَنْ رَكِبَ فِيهَا نَجَا، وَمَنْ تَخَلَّفَ عَنْهَا غَرِقَ»
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The example of my Ahl al-Bayt is like the Ark of Noah; whoever boarded it was saved, and whoever remained behind was drowned."
