Brief Explanation
Explanation: -
In this blessed hadith, those diseases present within a human being have been identified, from which hundreds of other illnesses are born:

Shuh (Miserliness):
When both greed and stinginess are combined, it is called shuh. This is an intense form of stinginess, but when impatience (sala‘) is also added to it, then its severity knows no bounds. Because of this, a person remains in distress day and night—no matter how much wealth and riches he acquires, his intention is never satisfied; he remains trapped in covetousness. And when it comes time to spend, it feels as if his life is leaving him; he begins to display panic and impatience.

Jubn (Cowardice):
That is, cowardice—what kind of cowardice? Khala‘: the kind that snatches the heart away. When a coward faces an enemy or any calamity, he sees death before him, as if his heart is about to leap out, and that very heartbeat will cause his death.

These two diseases do not leave a person capable of doing good deeds. Whoever does not gain control over them, know that he has reached the brink of humiliation.
