1331 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْأَرْدِسْتَانِيُّ بِالْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ، ثنا الْقَاضِي الشَّرِيفُ أَبُو عُمَرَ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ الْهَاشِمِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو هَاشِمٍ عَبْدُ الْغَفَّارِ بْنُ سَلَامَةَ الْحِمْصِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، ثنا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَادِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، قَالَ: لَا آمَنُ بَعْدَ الَّذِي سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَقَلْبُ ابْنٍ آدَمَ أَسْرَعُ تَقَلُّبًا مِنَ الْقِدْرِ إِذَا اسْتَجْمَعَتْ غَلْيًا»
Sayyiduna Miqdad bin Aswad (may Allah be pleased with him) says that after hearing this from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), I do not trust anyone. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: "Indeed, the heart of the son of Adam changes more quickly than a pot when it is boiling intensely."
