1326 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ النَّحَّاسِ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ جَامِعٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا الْمُسْتَمِرُّ بْنُ الرَّيَّانِ، ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، أبنا الْقَاضِي أَبُو طَاهِرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ حَفْصٍ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، ثنا مُسْتَمِرُّ بْنُ الرَّيَّانِ، فِي حَدِيثِ ابْنِ النَّحَّاسِ: ثنا أَبُو نَضْرَةَ، وَفِي حَدِيثِ النَّيْسَابُورِيِّ: عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَطْيَبُ الطِّيبِ الْمِسْكُ»
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best fragrance is musk."

Explanation:
From this blessed hadith, it is understood that musk is the finest fragrance. In one hadith it is stated: "Musk is your best fragrance." [أبو داود : 3156 ، وسنده صحيح]
The odor that comes from the mouth of a fasting person is also likened to musk. [بخاري : 1904] And when the soul of a believer departs, its example is also given with musk. [مسلم : 2872]
The garden that was granted to Sayyiduna Anas radi Allahu anhu by virtue of the supplication of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, which used to bear fruit twice a year, would also emit the fragrance of musk. [ترمذي : 3833 ، وسنده صحيح]
The sweat of the people of Paradise will be like musk. [بخاري : 3245 ، مسلم : 2834]
The soil of Paradise is like musk. [بخاري : 349]
On the Day of Resurrection, the wounds of those injured in the path of Allah will emit the fragrance of musk. [ترمذي : 1957 ، وسنده صحيح]
