1309 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ التَّرْجُمَانِيِّ الْفَقِيهُ بِالرَّمْلَةِ، ثنا الْقَاضِي أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمَنْبِجِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَيْشُونَ، أبنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «نِعْمَ الشَّفِيعُ الْقُرْآنُ لِصَاحِبِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "On the Day of Resurrection, the Qur'an will be an excellent intercessor for its companion (the one who recites it)."
