129 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الصَّفَّارُ، أبنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَهْرَامَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ أَبِي كَرِيمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْمُؤْمِنُ إِلْفٌ مَأْلُوفٌ، وَلَا خَيْرَ فِي مَنْ لَا يُأْلَفُ، وَخَيْرُ النَّاسِ أَنْفَعُهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ»
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A believer is friendly and is befriended, and there is no good in one who does not befriend nor is befriended, and the best among the people is the one who is most beneficial to the people."

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah radi Allahu anhu narrates that indeed the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “The abode of a believer is affection (entirely affection), and there is no good in the one who does not show affection to others, nor do others show affection to him.” [أحمد : 400/2 و إسناده حسن]
