1245 - أنا هِبَةُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُمَرَ الصَّوَّافُ، أنا الْقَاضِي أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْأَذَنِيُّ، أنا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ، نا الْمُسَيَّبُ بْنُ وَاضِحٍ، نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ رُؤْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي كَبْشَةَ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «خَيْرُكُمْ خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Kabsha (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best among you is the one who is best to his family."
Brief Explanation
Benefit:
❀ Sayyidah Aishah radi Allahu anha says that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: "The best among you is the one who is best to his family, and I am the best among you to my family. When one of your companions passes away, then leave him (i.e., do not mention his faults)." [ترمذي : 3895 ، وسنده صحيح]
❀ Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas radi Allahu anhu narrates from the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that he said: "The best among you is the one who is best to his family, and I am the best among you to my family." [ابن ماجه : 1977 ، وسنده حسن]
