1233 - أَخْبَرَنَا الْقَاضِي عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ بْنُ الْمُنْتَصِرِ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْبُخَارِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزْدَادَ، ثنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ، ثنا الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ، قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ خَالِدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ: تَلَقَّفْتُ هَذِهِ الْخُطْبَةَ مِنْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِتَبُوكَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ فِي خُطْبَةٍ طَوِيلَةٍ فِيهَا: «خَيْرُ الْعَمَلِ مَا نَفَعَ، وَخَيْرُ الْهَدْي مَا اتُّبِعَ، وَخَيْرُ مَا أُلْقِيَ فِي الْقَلْبِ الْيَقِينُ»
Sayyiduna Zayd bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I heard this sermon from the mouth of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in Tabuk. I heard him say in a long sermon: "The best deed is that which brings benefit, and the best guidance is that which is followed, and the best thing placed in the heart is certainty."
